    Drove down Kings Road yesterday and all the street lamps have a hanging banner with a Chelsea player on. While stuck at the lights outside Fulham tube station it took me a good 5 minutes to fathom out Drinkwater

        Loftus-Cheek will be a Chelsea mainstay and key international, I think he's a fantastic player.

              I can't hate the fella (although i should), but you only have to look through their managerial history to predict how this is going to go. Way more experienced managers have ended their tenure in super toxic conditions so its one hell of a gamble from him.

              He's a safe manager though so i don't think he'll be appalling or anything, although its a tough time to come into the club, no transfers and a Sarri core built.

                I thought he was set to be a great manager. Definitely deals with media and speaks very well.

                This is surely too soon for him? Will be interesting.

                  I think he’ll do well, he will have the fans behind him and will get more time than his predecessors. Plus a sack load of money to spend when the transfer ban ends.

                    Im sure players from all around the world will be queueing up to play for someone who had such a powerful kick.

                    Lol... has it ever been so amusing to be Liverpool fan? Seeing the Arse Mancs and Chavs all in complete disarray.

                    Just ban City, and all we have to worry about is Spurs... And it seems clear their stadium is monopolising their cashflow.

                      I do think it's a bit early for him but tbh I think he's one of the most intelligent footballers I've heard when he speaks.

                      I hated that Chelsea team when the rivalry was biggest due to the CL games but taking the objective view on it, he was an incredibly talented player and comes across a decent bloke and pundit.

                      Did well with the youth at Derby too so I wouldn't be surprised if he does alright with them for a few years.

                        Same I hated him and the whole Chelsea team between 05-14. Now I don’t have any feeling towards the club, and actually wanted them to win Europa over Arsenal.
                        I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

                          Agree with above, hated that old Chelsea clique but I do like Lampard now, great pro and seems a decent guy. Massive step up for him this. Might be a bit too early for him but I do think he'll have a good future in management.
