The new rules on loan players will have a dramatic effect on the hoarding of young talent for chavs and ****ty.

Provided the regulations are given final approval by the FIFA Council, between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023 clubs will be limited to a maximum of eight international loan signings in and eight loaned out, dropping to seven in 2023-24 and remaining at six from 2024-25.

I read something on that this morning on BBC and the article said he had been ill all week and wasn't ready to play, but that seems to have been taken out now.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Now isn't that a quandary. Put the money in the hands of a corrupt oligarchy bent on stripping a nation of its wealth or give it to Abramovich and trust he will do as he said and invest it into helping Ukraine

                      A £1.6bn loan FFS. What a joke.

                        Bring back Kerry Dixon?
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

How did the club plan to pay back 1.6 billion? It's absolutely bonkers how this has been allowed.

                            Fit and proper

Probably helps if you donate to the tory party, one corruption supporting another

I've said this a number of times, it's essentially owner investment by the backdoor in order to beat FFP. As long as Abramovich owned the club he didn't want the loan repaid.

Wing backs they are covered - maybe back up to James aside and in midfield Saul (who I thought was great btw) has absolutely BOMBED. Shift him back to AM and then use Gallagher maybe to slot in. Jorginho and Kante are getting on also so they need to refresh there.

Their central defence rebuild without Romans “loans” will be very interesting - Rudiger, Azpi and Christiansen have been mainstays - they have to replace all 3 which would be ball park 120m. If they kept Guehi and Tomori they’d have had two of them
when you look at it, it's a huge rebuild they have ahead of them. Hopefully it dies on its arse. Lukaku is marmite, like him or you don't. Personally I think his goal stats speak for themselves, I don't think he's a stroppy player, I think he's a confidence player and that confidence has been shattered by Tuchel who much like Mourinho is a very spikey and dislikeable manager. You spend 100m on a forward and you spend that money with a view of getting the most out of that player and playing to his strengths. Considering the way Chelsea play, it's seems such an odd signing. If lukaku gets quick balls over the top and in the channels he'll bang in goals. He's not the most gifted technically but he's a great finisher that has pace and power in abundance and Tuchel has not played to that whatsoever. He looks a shadow of himself oul Romulus.
