So fair to say Mourinho will have been a relative failure at Real if/when he fails to win the CL once again. It was the point of his appointment after all.

He will have failed to win the CL with two of the world's richest clubs (Chelsea, Real Madrid). Not denigrating his record or his excellence - however I continue to take issue with the fact he guarantees anything other than a third season collapse. Assuming they go out to Dortmund it will be 5 defeats in 7 semi finals. Poor considering his resources.

We probably found out about it a few months ago and that is why we contacted him and asked him if he was interested, if we did that.
