I knew someone would post that pic. Obviously neither are nice but Suarez's came in the middle of a high intensity match. Anyone who's played the game knows that it's capable of making you do silly things, and Suarez is particularly susceptible given the frenzied intensity with which he plays. What's Mourinho's excuse? The reason for the Suarez picture is we love Suarez as he is 'ours' had he been an opposing player we'd give him the same **** that opposing fans give him, had we got Mourinho instead of Rafa...

TBH i don't love Mourinho but likewise don't hate him (not unless he's competing against us).

tbf, what Suarez did was very much heat of the moment in play, where as i think a lot of what Maureen has done and is hated for is more calculated.

The other factor is about it being calculated - an utter desperation to be at the centre of attention, to be the story. Suarez has cocked up and done bad, rash things in the heat of the moment - like you say Mourinho's 'moments' all appear calculated, especially the way he strolled up to Vilanova as cool as you like and gouged his eye.
