Clearly what they need is more players, it’s a parody at this stage

**** em, they’ve moved to the top of my most hated list, even ahead of United. They can rot in their toxic environment and all the unrest it brings them

mental. I guess he comes in for Gallager as they attempt to cook the books?

I don't get what players see? This has to be agent driven. Last seasons signings are already sat outside of the squad not getting a game. Joao Felix did pretty much **** all for them when he signed last season and now he must see that Neto and all the others have signed and want game time also... It is bizarre.

They also don't seem to be signing players based on any pre-set formation requirements.

Plus, they still lack a centre forward despite all of these signings

Am sure their fans can celebrate in winning the transfer window for the last 4 windows.

They’ll prob still sign more - maybe Oshimen but it’s ludicrous what they are doing. They have so many good players but very few of them are being played in their right position and they have ostracized good pros who have come through their ranks

Any player with any sense would avoid them like the plague - it must be some money laundering racket, can be no other explanation

It’s either the Saudi’s or Roman pulling the strings here. It’s bat**** crazy, it makes no business or football sense at all!
We are here for a good time not a long time....

Chelsea have a given out contracts totalling 191 years since Todd Boehly arrived!!! MADNESS

The long term contract is good from a business point of view if the player works out as a signing and is playing regularly, as you have their future secured and for book-keeping reasons you spread the fee over a longer period of time. But if signings don't work out, or you have too many players then they become a financial liability they are on massive wages for a long period of time and other clubs aren't keen to pay top dollar to take them off your hands.

This is the reality of football, most big clubs end up with a some fraction of their signings in this category end up paying wages for 2 or 3 years while getting little in return, we can all think of examples at LFC. Usually it takes a couple of years of playing regularly to find out or a big injury they don't recover from. Chelsea seem to be finding out really early and are likely to have to pay 6 or 7 years of wages if they can't get rid
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

You see, it’s totally not a mess.

Such a shame for Ben Chilwell too - not.
                      Oh I don't know.

The absolute minimum they need to do is move the big earners on. If they have half a dozen Bogardes they are in serious trouble (with the rules). They have time yet to move on players, i suspect it will at a hefty loss.

Enzo Maresca on Raheem Sterling out of the project:
"I've been honest, he will have no minutes here... I am not saying Raheem is not a good player but I prefer different kinds of wingers. It's simple".

Would anyone be interested in Chilwell on a season long loan, as back up / competition for Robbo?
