I was never his biggest detractor, but I certainly had my concerns about him. He's won me over big time though. Loved it when he chased the ball from going out for a goal kick, and then the crowd starting singing his name.

The season is ending at the wrong time for him really. But from his point of view there's a big chance he's played himself into the Euros.

Thats the exact moment I fell in love with him.

He's been a different player since the FA cup final.

I think that's unfair, I think he's been improving steadily during 2012.

But I would agree that he has channelled the disappointment of not being part of the FA Cup starting eleven in the best way possible.

Still not good enough for this club imo - that horrible mis hit shot from Johnson's amazing cross in the 1st half sums Carroll up to me - typically average, over-priced English, unskillful footballer who can only use his height/physicality to make his mark on the game...

rubbish. He was excellent last night and has been improving for quite some time.

You mean like the horrible mis hit shot that Gerrard took in the same game?
Get over yourself man.

His desire, movement, strength, heading, shooting and link up play have been superb in the last 1/4 of the season. He'll go to the Euros, score some goals and come back to Liverpool ready to arse rape defences next season.

As an aside, what would Andy need to improve in order to be classed as World Class? Always wondered what separated good players with world class ones.

Lets hope he doesn't go the Euros. With Liverpool's luck with internationals, he's bound to come back with some sort of problem just as he's finding his feet.

He's been fantastic these last two games, but yeah the timing is a bit unfortunate. Loads of questions still need answering and we ain't getting the answers until next season. Some people not wanting him to go to the euros, has Carroll himself got one eye the the euros???
