England has quite a good team of players to be honest, I think they'd have a decent shot at the World Cup with a manager who isn't braindead.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Can't we wank over both?
A midfield of Lallana, Henderson, Coutinho, combined with Sterling, Suarez and Sturridge is pretty spectacular.
If we *could* get Shaw and we purchase the right centre-backs, we could have a very impressive, young team that could compete for a long period of time.Comment

Nah, not really.
We have a hell of a lot of young potential, and in 4 years time who knows, but atm we're bang average.
A good manager should be able to take us to semi's if we get a decent run, that's about our level.Comment

England's chances of getting through that group will improve remarkably if they sack Hodgson now. What a useless ****. And Rooney shouldn't even be in the squad the way he usually performs. When did he last put in a proper performance for England? 2004?
Put a bunch of OAP's behind the goal and he'll some start finding the net.Comment

One of the commentators referred to the youngsters coming through into the England set-up and mentioned Rooney! Most footballers are at the start of their decline at 28, but Rooney was well past his best at 25.Comment

Lalana changed the game, he is way ahead of Rooney and should start behind Sturridge but we know he won't.
In summer it would be nice to test Southampton's will with a decent bid, he is better than Micky Ryan and plays our type of football. Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.Comment
