Spot on. Sam has a plan even if it's a limited one - although he did love JayJay all those years ago so perhaps he'll have a sprinkling of flair in the side.

England are regressing at an astonishing rate. At least Hodgson got Fulham to a Europa league final, and had managed in Europe. Allardyce won't even know where Europe is, has he ever managed a competitive match in Europe? Has he even played in Europe? Or a final? He's won absolutely nothing in his career.
