The midfield looks ****. How the **** does James Milner get in it..? He never plays for City. A perfect non flair Hodgson style footy player I suppose. The forwards also look weak and untried, but there are few opitons. Crouch is unlucky.

I think Milner is a certainty for any international squad. Really committed to it, very versatile. I think he's a lot better than people often make out as well.

I remember him getting torn a new hole against the US at the World Cup and getting the big hook at H/T.

Carroll should definitely go but I have to say the inclusion of Downing and Henderson is mind-blowing considering the alternatives. However, as a Liverpool fan, it's good news for us and a confidence boost for them.
