Pundits talking a lot of ****
to make England seem better than they are. I'd love to know how they expect to score from open play when they are all too tired from constantly defending to get up and support the front man. Even with Rooney back they haven't got a hope in hell if nobody is within 15-20 meters of him. France were able to play with 2 men at the back for the majority of the game but they lacked creativity, better teams will make England pay.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

Lol at people saying it was boring. It's tournament football. It's about getting through the group no matter how dull. Apart from under hoddle we're always **** to watch barring the odd exception 5 1 in Germany. I get most of you don't like England and most dislike roy more, but some of the comments are a joke. But hey I didn't cheer when we scored either but I didn't want us to lose to them ****s. If Greece can win by being organised then we have a chance albeit little. LoL. Bob, I'm sorry, but that's a load of ****. In the first half there were never more than 2 people in the attacking third, it was pathetic. The deep-lying 2 banks of 4 players were typical Hodgson. It was shocking ****ing football. Whichever way you look at it, that will get England nowhere, they *might* scrape through to the round of the last 16, but to think this is tournament football is bull****, it was devoid of any creativity, devoid of any passion and the ideas were nowhere.

England were toothless and dull for long periods of that game, but that's hyperbolic nonsense.

I thought they did a little better than I expected until we scored, then you literally had two banks of four, the first back four about a foot in front of Hart and the midfield back four a few feet ahead. Pretty obvious what was going to happen when they adopted that and encouraged France to play with the ball around the box. Took me straight back to Woys days at LFC.
Awful after they scored, average before.
I stil think they'll finish the group with 2 points and go out.

Nice Craig post there 'hyperbolic nonsense' - the new fashionable word when one disagrees. There was no one in between Young and Welbeck - 30 yards of space. When England attacked via the flanks there was maybe 1 player in the middle. It was the ****test game of the Euros and one of the most boring games I've seen. Anyways, England will be getting absolutely nowhere and that's a good thing. They played shocking football, France were little better and both teams seemed content with the draw. It's not even worth arguing about, any donkey could see how **** the game was, how devoid of any creativity, half the stadium was booing for a period in the 2nd half. Whatever. It's not a matter of 'if' but 'when'.Originally posted by Kenneth View Postin the first half there were never more than 2 people in the attacking third? Never. Really?
