I added BT when I was sat on the couch half cut waiting for the Man City v Liverpool game to come on a stream over Christmas. I couldn't be bothered with the jerkiness and everyone sat around my laptop, plus I had just bought a big new tele so was seduced into it.

Have to say that on the whole, the BT coverage is just as woeful as everywhere else. The commentary is just as annoying and their idiosyncratic gimmicks that try to set them apart form other sport broadcasters are just as annoying and distracting as anywhere else.

I like Jake though, he's cool.

Virgin. And I'm otherwise happy with the service I'm getting so I'm reluctant to switch. Streams and pubs it is, for another season then I think.
            Oh I don't know.

i'd say it's about 6 or 7 years old now?

that said, when we got it, it was the dogs bollocks, so it's not aged to badly.

however i just can't remember off the top of my head what connections it has - i know it had a couple of scart connections and about 4 HDMI connections

just can't recall seeing a vga connection - will check tonight

only other way is we have apple tv - if we could connect from pc/laptop to apple tv ?

Maybe you know someone that has BT Sport but they're not bothered about watching BT Sport online? You can 'borrow' their login.

I did that for the Liverpool vs Borussia game the other week and it was a great stream.

I didn't know you could do that. I'll see if my parents have it. Nice one.

yeah - but how? i've never watched games on ipad? - actually i remember ages ago having to download a 'free' browser called Puffin or something - it took ages, eventually got it to work and it was **** and slowed my ipad down....and then all of a sudden it asked for money so i deleted it

are there new/other ways now? - if so then yeah, all day i'll use it via apple tv and rock out with my cock out

just had a look at that £30, interesting - shame we already had apple tv

there is something called AirParrot - software which will allow my PC to connect to Apple TV, which is about £10

so it's between that and the chromecast
