It's basically assured that Maxi will be gone before next season though right? If so, then as far as summer signings go, he should be considered gone. And getting rid of Cole and Aquilani is going to be impossible if they are unwilling to take less money from another club.

I'll keep from whining too much. I don't know enough about Sigurdsson to know if he's worth matching Spurs' offer. It's also too early in the summer to really complain. Just gives me even more concerns about what our owners' priorities really our.

We dont know about Maxi but even then hes probably only earning half the wages Cole is

We can get rid of Aquilani now today and save £4-5 million over the next 2 years (if you believe the reports)

Cole is on more than that I think well over £100K if I remember rightly
