It is disheartening when the lure of Liverpool FC is not enough. But, as has been said, the guy has every right to make a decision based mainly on financial benefits.

It also has to be said that the sporting opportunity at Spurs is also a major factor, they do have a very strong squad and team.

Let's get a decision ASAP and move onto other targets.

If that is true then it just goes to show how badly mis-managed we've been for years - including the Rafa years.

We're paying out huge sums in wages to players that frankly don't deserve them.

i dont thing gylfi would be too overpriced at 55k, look at what he will bring to the team, something we have been sadly lacking... goals from midfield. he will also be moving the ball around more intelligently.
i can understand fsg wanting to be careful with their expenditure, but now they are going to cut off their nose to spite their face

we are only in this "lets be very careful how much we spend on a player/wages" due to some of the previous piss poor signings. if we hadnt spunked on adam, hendo, carroll and drowning then we would have paid what it took to secure gylfi, and we wouldnt be pissing in the wind again...
