Borini doing a hell of a lot of running off the ball. More than most, and creating space for Suarez if I remember. We could really do with him back. When he does, and we sign the two attacking players. Our squad and first team look a whole lot different.

No you are right. It does make no sense now. But at the time when he thought he was getting someone else did it probably seemed like good work.
Also, can I add on the subject of Carroll. He has been injured more than not this season and scored one goal. **** knows how that would be helping us if he was here instead.
