Borini, Sturridge and Ince = £30-35m right?

Take them out and we still have the likes of Sterling, Suso, Shelvey and Gerrard who can play in those roles. I sometimes wonder if would be better off investing this kind of money in one quality proven player. £30m will get a lot of interest thats for sure, even without CL.

We did it in 2008 IIRC. Torres in. Crouch, Bellamy, Kuyt and Fowler just did not put enough chances away at times and those four are better then what we have now when you exclude Luis.

an option for what a body in the box? and all i said in response to saj's comment which was we have really missed him and i said in what way his goals and assists ? yet you decide to do a character assassination...if you think Borini has been badly missed then am sure he will go on to have a brilliant career at Anfield and not be sold on after a season or two

The fact he's a forward we brought for this season and haven't been able to use, we're light on strikers at the club so he'd have been useful to have available.

Whether he'd have made any difference is neither here nor there as we actually have no idea what he'd have offered us in the games he's been injured in
