Ha ha. And many other summers mate. One of the pics I saw of Borini playing I saw Konchesky in the background & felt a little sick. It was like 2 people on elevators. One going up & the other down.

Not overly. I think there has been a lot - in this and the t'other thread - of posters admitting to seeing nothing of him, welcoming him to the club and posting snippets of information they have found.

I actually think he'll do alright. a player seemingly signed to fit a planned system, its unusual for us. just amazes me how people still get so excited about a relatively unknown player coming in, based on a few comments, you tube clips and chinese whispers.

Everybody does their research. There are plenty of people that have seen him play at all levels and have written about his qualities and what he can bring to the club. I reckon most people are just going by that. It is premature but we have to enjoy these moments as a Liverpool fan! There has not been much to get excited about in the last few years.

I think he is type of player that we really could have used last year with Kenny.

Good poaching instincts, he has very good positional sense, some decent pace and can score with both feet.

He reminds me very much of Pippo and there is no reason to think that won't do well in Rodgers' system as he specifically wanted him and worked with him in the past.
