Depends really and it's a gamble but with coutinhio providing the passes and maybe a bit more help from midfield he will have more chances but still risky, squad player at best

It's as much to do with us and they way we are set up as it is him. He isn't good enough to replace Suarez centrally and Sturridge is also a better option and like Shaggy says, he's not really suited out wide.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

i would like to see him smash a few more for italy to raise his profile and then have some italian club get interested in him.

He needs to simplify, just like he did with the only goal of that match, and make sure that he hits the target and the rest will come.

I know he's been injured but when I've seen him he just hasn't look clinical in front of goal, he's let a few decent chances go begging. Hopefully that will just have been due to a lack of fitness and game time after the injury, but based on what we saw last season there is no way we could have played him as the central striker in that system, but he looked poor out wide. As Shaggy says I can't see him as anything better than 3rd choice at the moment (unless he shows a significant improvement).

But he's what 21 years? He has the movement needed to be a top striker, but needs the confidence and experience to really kick on IMO. That can come with time, I'm willing to see how he develops for at least one more season.

Absolutely, the speed we write some of these youngsters off is astounding. Last season was a poor one for in he terms of injuries but he should certainly be given this season to see how he progresses.

At the very least he going to offer us some depth and genuine work rate on the pitch

The guy showed with that goal he has ability. Injury definitely hampered him last season

For me he needs to develop and to develop he needs game time, which I just can't see him getting here at the moment (on a regular basis at least). He's another one who (like Shelvey) would benefit from a loan move but I don't see that happening to be honest.

We haven't spent £11M on him to send him out on loan, I think he'll get quite a bit of time next season especially if we see Downing move on.

As for the loan I guess it depends on whether we see him as a short term or long term signing, long term I think the best thing for us is for him to get experience. If he is going to get games in place of Downing fair enough if we see that as his long term position, personally I don't see him as a wide player, and I don't see him getting game time as a striker.

I agree I think he's more of a front man as well but I can see him being used on the right in a front.

Guess it depends who comes in really and if Suarez leaves.

He's 100% not a wide player, his technique is woeful. And he isn't good enough to be a starter for us at CF at the moment.

Whatever my opinion about the guy, he need games to improve and progress, IMO he won't get them at LFC. Interesting to see what he'll do come start of the season.

He'll still be here, of that I'm pretty certain. Most likely back up to Sturridge up top who is potentially not going to be fit and there's not going to be any Suarez for the start of the season regardless if he leaves or not.
