this is why we should dismantle all unions in all areas of employment. That way any employer could easily **** off any employee that they'd pro-actively employed without recourse, regardless of the contract that said employers had rationally chosen to offer.

Fiorentina have reportedly given Liverpool’s Fabio Borini a 48-hour ultimatum to decide whether he will move to Florence.

La Viola have been looking to sign a new striker since Mario Gomez departed for Besiktas and are believed to be close to completing a deal for Borini.

Although negotiations have reportedly gone well, La Nazione believes that there are still several details to iron out including the striker’s salary.

The paper reports that the Artemio Franchi outfit have now told Borini that he has 48 hours to decide if he wants to move before they turn to other targets.

Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has confirmed their interest in the 24-year-old striker, who is surplus to requirements at Anfield.


There has been discussions between the clubs over a potential move but no deal is yet in place. Reports in Italy suggest that both Lazio and Inter Milan are also interested.

Fiorentina are in need of more firepower following the departure of Mario Gomez to Besiktas and they are chasing both Borini and Dnipro striker Nikola Kalinic.
