Borini should not be played as a wide player in my opinion, yet Rodgers has played him there most of the time. That's where Walcott can go.

Imo 70-75k per week would be probably what we would be willing to pay but I think his wage expectations are much higher than that.

Walcott scores some good goals, can do a decent job through the middle s well. A totally interchangeable front three of Suarez, Borini and Walcott would be pretty nice.

Walcott would be a great signing in my opinion. Would give our attack a totally different dimension. Him and borini playing off the last defender with intelligent movement / uncatchable pace would give any defence a nightmare. Gerrard and Sahin to supply.

If we went for him in earnest I reckon he'd join us over city, for the simple reason he'd play more games with us. He'd be straight on the bench there and I honestly don't think he's that type.

12mil with add one would do the trick I reckon. 3 mil for spearing (if rumours are to be believed), 5mil for Adam. Plus whatever we can get for cole and downing (who would surely become surplus to requirements) and the deal should be doable. Let ayre and Rodgers worry about wages. I'm sure they'd make the right call on him.

Honestly don't think this would be about money for Walcott. Throughout career, he has had chances to go elsewhere for more
