Opposite for me. He can get into good positions but prior to his recent comeback his finishing was wank.

Aquilani was **** and appalling and vole for missing most of his first season by being injured. Borini misses a massive chunk of the season yet a lot of people feel that he has promise.

Quite liked Aquilani in his first season. Showed some real promise. But he didn't want to be here. Made that pretty obvious by buggering off somewhere else every year.

i think aquilani was absent for long periods of time purely because he didn't fancy it. which is not true with old joe.

...the only real difference between them is it looks like Borini actually gives a ****, whereas Aquilani didn't know if he was coming or going... mainly due to looking like Nookie Bear (...just Google image it, kids)

Aquilani looked very good when he did play towards the tail end of his first season. Never played apart from preseason for us again.

Still would have been better keeping him and Meireles than buying Adam or having to play spearing.

Borini has been injured with two very unfortunate injuries, I think judgments of him so far are hasty at best right now.
