a few decent games when he first came in, and the odd few games were he wasnt the worst, mainly thanks to glen just pipping him to the fart in the spacesuit prize.

Honestly, I bet there isn't too much difference. Reason Spearing didn't make it at the top level is the same reason Allen isn't loved universally.

Lack of height & strength combined with lack of delivering goals & assists. Obviously if he really was the Welsh Xavi that'd be fine, but he's not.

          £15,000,000

Probably worth a tenth of that

Should be nowhere near our first 11.

I've said he's been functional in the past and I stand by that, but he was complete ****e today.

Another classic Liverpool signing whereby bad performances are below the level required and acceptable.

Loved his little show of fight when he was getting his yellow card, although I think it may have directed at one of ours (probably Moreno).

                  Absolute warrior.

You really get **** all for 15m in the British game.

It's the Welsh Xavi, which is only slightly less outrageous than calling him the Welsh Messi.

We'd be better off with someone like Salif Diao than this waste of space; at least he wouldn't get comically shrugged aside like a lost school boy.

Why does he take up a space that Emre Can could take?

For me he's a squad player, he was fine last year as someone to come into a team that's playing well and keep things ticking over, for me that's his level but he isn't a player who should be a starter or someone who can make a difference in a team that is struggling.

I don't understand why Can hasn't played more, in the brief amount of time he's had he's looked decent. I would have liked to see more of him.

It's all relative, FFS I'd rather have Sean Dundee back in the first 11?

                              😆

A complete nothing player, doesn't influence a game positively in any way shape or form. He can do a 5 yard sideways pass and that's it. A total waste of a shirt, a homeless man's tom cleverley
