Honestly, I bet there isn't too much difference. Reason Spearing didn't make it at the top level is the same reason Allen isn't loved universally.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostJoe Spearing.
Lack of height & strength combined with lack of delivering goals & assists. Obviously if he really was the Welsh Xavi that'd be fine, but he's not.Forwards.......

It's the Welsh Xavi, which is only slightly less outrageous than calling him the Welsh Messi.Originally posted by Dessy View PostGot to agree, passenger today and ****e at best... Welsh Messi my arse.
We'd be better off with someone like Salif Diao than this waste of space; at least he wouldn't get comically shrugged aside like a lost school boy.

For me he's a squad player, he was fine last year as someone to come into a team that's playing well and keep things ticking over, for me that's his level but he isn't a player who should be a starter or someone who can make a difference in a team that is struggling. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I don't understand why Can hasn't played more, in the brief amount of time he's had he's looked decent. I would have liked to see more of him.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostWhy does he take up a space that Emre Can could take? The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

It's all relative, FFS I'd rather have Sean Dundee back in the first 11?
