Can I just say I called the Sterling hype after his first couple of games? I said he was promising, not the Messiah (or Messi-ah).
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Well can I just say that I called it after he scored those 5 goals against Southend a few years ago.Originally posted by Neil Young View Post

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

You called the hype before there was any hype? Impressive.

well! well! well! no video about Assaidi in africa cup in alst game, Morocco can only play 20 mins in begening of the match or last 20-25 mins and they play with 10 or 9 players because Belhanda and Assaidi was elsewhere , maybe Assaidi didn't have many good balls but he was week and the match start when Belhanda left the game, Barrada (getafe player) hold the team on his shoulders and give good assit to el arabi so finally they draw 1-1 against cape verde!! they could win in last 10 mins but they could lose too.
i'm disapointed, pfff some moroccan national team " f...king stars" need some kicks in their butts, i better stop about that.
so so so so maybe Assaidi can play for liverpool but he need toooooo much work i think, i still believe he is good player but is he good enough for team like liverpool? i start doubt little about this.
he answers to question about liverpool,he said it's hard to be there without family but things are getting better slowly and will be good sure...
the lad is good family guy and maybe death of his father few months ago still affect him, he lost his grandmother few weeks ago too i think, and maybe he need his mom to move to liverpool to stay wityh him? !!!
anyway he need work work work and show he can handle liverpool and epl level or go back to erdevisie or go turkey, epl need fighters and he have to become a warrior... i hope he will improve, i think he need to improve mainly mentally, he have to get the epl fighting spirit because he have great technical skills but football is more than that...
YNWA.

I watched parts of the game yesterday to have a look at Assaidi,. As BaReD says he didn`t see that much of the ball, but at least he tries to do something positive when he gets it. Morocco seemed to play at half speed, so it wasn`t easy for him.
But if this is Assaidis level now he really needs to step up to have any chance at LFC.Blank

I read he had an absolute stinker in his previous game.

If Ajax's interest in Assaidi was genuine, and our interest in Eriksen is more than papertalk, he could be useful in any potential deal this summer. In that sense, us buying him was a stroke of genius. Failing that, we've once again proven our credentials as complete muppets in the transfer market. I know which one my money's on.
