We better be getting another body in somewhere in the squad, this window was all about strengthening and both him and Cole have gone. They might not be missed, especially Cole but they still both contributed in the league and europe on a few occasions.

Sturridge was an excellent start, hopefully it doesn't end badly.

I put the blame for this squarely on Rodgers. His signing, his mistake.

I dunno about this, was it entirely his signing and tbh we don't know if he's been doing enough in training to deserve a spot in the side/squad, from what I've seen in terms of players such as Henderson, Enrique and Downing if you're doing enough you'll get your chance.

Agreed with the muscle type coming into the midfield.

Yep, if we don't sign replacements for Joe Cole and Sahin, we'll be left with a thinner squad. I think Tom Ince is the one pencilled in to replaced Cole but Sahin, I'm not so sure.

he's got the reputation as being a top player but maybe he just couldn't cut it here, it does happen.

Good point - we could have bought him and lost a fortune on him

I don't think we played him in his best position in enough games - that said he didn't look strong enough to play in a deep position for us.

Nuri Sahin's stay at #LFC is over. Paperwork on his return to Dortmund should be completed in the next couple of hours.

Pity but probably most sensible for all parties we better be replacing him though as our paper thin squad is getting thinner
