Imagine training your bollocks but you don't get an opportunity because the manager doesn't fancy you or he has a favourite which he wont dislodge?

Do agree though if he wasn't going to play best get rid and save some money and hopefully spend it on someone else.
    We come not to play.

Happy with that and best for both parties, frees those wages up for someone who hopefully can effect our first team rather than just be a wage drain. Pity but Rogers clearly felt he wasn't right for the premier league.

But did he train his bollocks off and did he show enough to be in ahead of others? We've no idea if he did.

At the end of the day he was a gamble.

If we'd have not signed him, our fans would have kicked off for missing the opportunity to sign a "world class" player.

Instead we took the chance, which we all seemed to be happy with but it simply didn't work out.

Instead of letting him occupy the bench or reserves on a high wage, we've let him go.

            Deal with it, move on.

IMO he was brought in as cover, in case we lost more midfielders through injury

Not sad to see him go as I think it makes sense under the circumstances, but having come with such a big reputation and having looked so promising early on against Young Boys and WBA, I did think we were on to a winner.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

just heard an interview with him and it sounds as if he did not manage to settle outside dortmund, where his family is.

i know, much of this is the player telling the supporters what they want to hear, but it sounded credible.

it will not be easy for him to reclaim his position, but i wish the lad good luck. shame it did not work out.

Matt Le Tissier was Notorious for not trying in Training. One of the reasons he failed to play too often for England.

Departure of Sahin shows how much different the PL is compared to other European leagues ...He seemed to struggle with the physicality

He didn't cut it, end of story.

All the criticism of the manager or the club is unwarranted.
                          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

That's another big salary off the wage bill, and another number down. We'd better do something about it FFS.
