Listening to Falcao here...it's why we won't/can't sign players like him for a while, and will have our work cut out keeping our best players unless we improve.

"Chelsea are champions of Europe and there is not much more to say than that," Falcao said in the Mail.

"Even after winning the Champions League they still go and sign players of the highest quality. Their ambition is clear."

Does anyone get remotely excited when they see us linked with such players, with a thought that they really might sign ? I don't anymore, but i look forward to it being the case in future, because this club really needs it's profile in europe dragging back up to where it should be.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is prepared to make Radamel Falcao the club's top earner by offering the striker a staggering £10million-a-year contract.

The Colombia forward is the club's No 1 transfer target and the Russian billionaire is determined to ensure the prolific South American becomes the next global superstar to make his way to Stamford Bridge.

And Sportsmail has learned the West London club will offer the 26-year-old a deal worth in the region of £200,000-per-week, to lure Falcao.

                      True.

But then he never speaks to you.
                      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

After @Soccerex and #4Amigos tonight, let's deal with Falcao/MU. But they HAVE paid an advance as they did with de Gea

Falcao to Scum would be a very bitter pill to swallow. FFS.

I reckon it's just Man Utd chat linking them to the players the fans want to be linked to, before they get gazumped by Chelsea. Man Utd do have a tendency to talk the talk, but fail to see it through.

Plus they must be looking at addressing their defence and midfield, Shirley.
