    Oh ****. Poor lad!

Sad news indeed. Hope it all goes well with the recovery.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Really bad news. At his stage of the carrier you have to fear it's the end of it, at least at a top club.

I'm not thinking about this injury itself, this might just be thing that tips it. He's 22 and have had several bad injuries. He has one year left of his contract, he'll have to really impress to get a new one IMO, probably while being on loan. I'm sure somebody will sign him, but at which level?

He has done plenty to impress, enough already to win a new contract. I don't know how bad the break is but hopefully he will be back at Liverpool training with the first team at the start of the season, I suspect this is what Brendog planned.

Yes, decent player but sadly he's got crock written all over him. I'd be surprised if he makes it here now.

While I haven't seen much of him at all his record isn't that fantastic for a 22 year old playing in the championship. From what I've seen it looks like he can make the step, but time is running out.

Yep, football is a cruel mistress and if this keeps him out for 6-9 months then I'd say he's unlikely to ever get a chance at Liverpool.

Poor lad, had he had a run at pre-season he might have made the squad next season. It's fine margins like that that change careers unfortunately.

That is such bad timing for the lad. He's had a decent spell at Brighton & this delay will really halt his progress at LFC now. Will have to show he can still produce & is good enough after his recovery. Shame to see another young star struggle to make it through for us

He was pencilled in for some pre-season time too, so it's a big blow.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

That's really unluckly, if it is 6-9 months out that means he'll struggle to get much game time for us at all next season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Was it a shocking challenge or just one of them?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He was making the tackle according to the link above, studs caught in the turf. Awful for the lad.
