It'd be odd if true seeing as it's gone this far... but I actually think there's better value for money out there than Eriksen. Fabulous talent though but a bit over-priced at the moment.

If speculations are correct and Ajax would be ok with 12m he'd cost 10m less than what we are supposedly willing to spend on Mkhitaryan and Eriksen is 3 years younger.

Personally for talent like him and the price he may go for I'm not sure if there is a better deal out there atm.

totally agree. If we were able to sign Eriksen for 12m and it went tits-up, he has an international reputation and youth on his side that someone in another league would take a punt for £10m..... Personally i would prefer Eriksen if they were the same price - probably because i have seen more of him play but also because i think he would be more likely to settle in England than Mkhitaryan (and that is just a hunch based on the fact that Danes generally have good english, he would have Agger next door etc).....

A bit like Coutinho for 8.5m was brilliant business (you'd get £5m back if he never kicked a ball - as it is he is probably worth £30m now!) i just think that Eriksen for £10 - £12m is a no-brainer as well.

I can see someone like Spurs or Arsenal coming in and having a superstar on their hands....

Mkhitaryan looks good but to be honest, at the money that is being mentioned, he could end up becoming Brendans Aquilani / Robbie Keane if he signed and flopped....

i agree but a lot of people have taken a look at eriksen but not many have taken a punt knowing full well that ajax are a selling club.
