They played against Swansea and Kolo did well again.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Would be funny is Lovren ends up getting bombed out because of Toure!

Well, he should. Lovren has been nothing but atrocious during his short period at the club. I doubt it could be any worse.

This was supposed to say possession, I didn't realise how drunk I was last night... Really shouldn't have driven, now that I think about it.

**** it, I really hope he leaves him in for Saturday's game. He deserves it after last night and he also sounds as though he's been working extremely hard in training.

Dare I say he even improved Skrtel last night to an extent?

He reminds me of Pellegrino under Benitez.

Pellegrino was an exceptional defender during his prime, but in 2005, he was old and struggling. However, it was his organisation and leadership that Benitez wanted to help the defenders understand his methods.

Toure did a lot of organising yesterday. I felt more composed with him as the game went on. He challenged the ball, and thought about where he was on the pitch.

This shouldn't even be a debate, our defence has been an embarrassment virtually all season and the biggest culprit is that useless turkey Lovren. He should have been bombed out weeks ago, total and utter ****e possibly the worst central defender I've seen since torben picknic. Toure kept quiet possibly the best attack in Europe and the best player currently in world football. The question shouldn't be if toure starts, the question should be who partners him? Lovren can **** off, atrocious excuse of a footballer

I would've liked to have seen Toure & Sakho last season to see if Skrtel was the issue. But Martin was playing well as an individual so it would have been harsh.

More I see LFC play, the more I think that Skrtel is the issue.
he is deffo past his best - otherwise he wouldnt have been on a free. But i actually think that he is still deserving of a place in our team.......at this moment in time anyway.

I think one of the main issues with Skrtel is the same issue as Sakho and possibly Lovren as well - he needs a player next to him to talk him through the whole game. He is the type of player that needs 4 or 5 bollockings a game to keep him on it. And he hasn't had that since Carragher left the club. Look at when Skrtel was class a few years ago - that was when he played with carragher for an extended period. Man C were rumoured to have offered us something like 20m after that season.

Rodgers thought he was getting a leader-talker in Lovren.......maybe he will in time but right now, Lovren is under too much pressure not to **** up himself that he wont be any use as a leader of men at the back.........

I actually think Skrtel, Sakho and Lovren would all give better accounts of themselves if they had Toure as a partner....

Its almost as though he's watching learning from his colleagues' mistakes. At least someone's learning.

                            Kolo Toure

Very fickle. He has had one good game and now he should be first choice? Most other games he could get nutmegged by Stevie Wonder. He won't start vs chelsea.

I get this but surely we have to have some sort of meritocracy? Lovren in no way deserves to be playing and Kolo did well enough the other night, more than well enough, to get a crack in the next game.

With Kolo, when he's good, he's amazing. When he's bad, he's really bad.

Just for the record, it was his second very good display, after Carling Cup vs Swansea.
