Toure was best on the right, allowed Agger to play on the left. If Skrtel is the issue then a shout of Toure & Lovren or Sakho would be a good shout.

In all honesty we should have tested Madrid's resolve with regards keeping Varane. Carragher reckons he's class and he does a good job for France with Sakho. And signed Lloris whilst we're at it

Yep defo the form CB at the moment. If Lovren comes back in by default I'd be very disappointed. If it happens Players will have no reason to believe they can put themselves in the first team picture by playing well when they get a chance.
