It's a tough one for Rafa, I think. If the bulk of the squad stay, then he may be tempted, but if he doesn't get them promoted at the first attempt, and there will be pressure to do it, then I don't think he'll get near a top gig again.

I think the Valencia job will be open for him whenever he wants. He is a legend there among the fans. And the fans are genuinely pissed at the ownership after the Gary Neville experiment.

There's a lot of players there which I can't make my mind up on, probably slightly too good for the Championship but not good enough for the Premier League. If they lose the likes of Krul, Wijnaldum etc then they could be in trouble.

Newcastle United have triggered the release clause of Hull midfielder Mohamed Diame, according to Sky sources.

A fee between the two clubs has been agreed after Newcastle activated the clause of £4.5m.
