    He's ****. Move on.
Jellyfish are 97% water or something, so how much are they doing? Just give them another 3% and make them water. It's more useful

I thought his positional sense was abysmal he was constantly in the opposition half when Villa were attacking. For much of the game Johnson, Skrtel and Toure were playing as a back three, to cover, while Henderson, Gerrard, Lucas or Allen were all also trying to fill in for him. When Villa's attack broke down he was still coming back into his own half. This is one of the most basic things a full back needs to do when the team loses possession, and for me it shows a lack of effort, which for me made him our worst player at least the others were trying.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I was speaking about him to some non Liverpool supporting friends and family last night. The general opinion there was that he is not disciplined enough with the ball to maintain the possession style of play that gets us our best results. I think it's still early days to pass judgement, but my gut feeling is that Rogers won't keep him.

My feelings exactly. He chased the ball upfield like a bloody schoolboy.

He's a serious liability, get rid. I hope Flanno comes back soon and picks up the form he left off with.

this is what i thought. and when we did lose the ball he was never in any hurry to get back in to position

I don't know how anyone can defend him. He was truly brutal.

Better off with Johnson left back and Kelly right back next game.

Don't even trust him to take a throw-in at the moment.

This feels like a bit of a bandwagon.

                        But yes, he's ****ing ****e.

I actually think I have better close control than he does.

He was really poor yesterday, he did seem like he was going to be great in his Porto days. Just shows how players go off the boil. How far off is Enrique?

yesterday, he wasn't far off Paul Konchesky's level and that is saying something...at one point in the second half, running forward with the ball, under no real pressure, he virtually tackled himself and nearly fell over.

i've no issues with the signing - we needed decent left back cover, but don't have millions to spend, he was available on loan and has played at a decent level previously, so it was a no brainer for me on loan.

but it's not worked and it's clear we are desperate for a left back so get one asap. Let cissokho go back in the summer.

that is indeed what we got to! for someone who has been worth 15m+ and has been courted by some top clubs over the years his regression is remarkable as I dont see any positives in his play at all.
