James McClean getting dog's abuse in some quarters for not facing the flag during national anthems, following his well publicised (and frankly, fair enough and more than well explained) reasons for not jumping on the poppy bandwagon.

I just had a quick look to see what the mob (Twitter) reaction to this is.
As expected - a lot of vitriolic jingoism slating him for not respecting the anthem.
I'd be willing to bet that 90% of the people slating him for it doesn't know more than 1 verse of the National Anthem.
