I think that would have a major negative knock on effect down the leagues.

That's the reason often cited, but I genuinely don't agree.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostI think that would have a major negative knock on effect down the leagues.
Attendances would take a bit of a hit, but not as extreme as they claim. The majority of fans of PL clubs who want to watch their team already do imo. Numbers would naturally go up if access was easier, but I still think majority of fans who want to watch live football would still go to matches. Basically I don't think there is a high volume of fans who only go to lower league football because they can't watch PL matches on TV.
If such a TV deal was agreed it would be huge financially. Make it part of the deal that some of this money filters down the leagues to compensate for drops in attendances. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yeah... filter some cash down and they can drop ticket prices.
Or just get the PL to not have 3pm kickoffs on a saturday. Make everyone play sunday at 4, or something. Id pay for one sub that covers everything... not paying for muliple subs on multiple platforms for **** i dont watchIn the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Not sure. A lot of the time when there is europa games then there ends up being onlt one or two 3pms.Originally posted by Scratch View PostDo a certain percentage of PL matches need to be 3pm kick-offfs on a Saturday, or will we move into a situation whereby every match is televised and none are 3pm k/os?
In reality, not many neutral fans give a **** about the likes of Burnley v Luton.......but id be pretty happy to see games televised on:
1. A Thursday night
2. Friday night
3. Sat 1230
4. Sat 530
5. Sat 8pm
6. Sun midday
7. Sun 2pm
8. Sun 430pm
9. Sun 8pm
10. Mon 8pm
The Thursday night when it clashes with europa would probably be cancelled though so maybe that could be sat 3pm then

Luis Rubiales ‘inappropriately touched’ England players on the same podium that he allegedly sexually assaulted Jenni Hermoso after the Women’s World Cup final, according to the Football Association chair Debbie Hewitt.
The claims have been revealed among new documents released by the world governing body Fifa to support their disciplinary panel’s decision to ban Rubiales from any involvement in football for three years.
