I'll bump this for you.Originally posted by RedReet View PostProbably should be in the comput section, but I’m aiming for a larger audience…
What app do people use for score updates? As **** as it was, I was using Live Score Addicts because at the time it was the quickest for updates and showed the goals shortly after they were scored.
As it’s now 2014, I’m guessing there must be much better ones on the market?
I use Live Score Addicts too. I find it ok.
That twitter thing isn't too bad. That rug really tied the room together.

Mine has just been playing up a bit, not changing dates and not opening at the correct page etc. Bar that, I just thought it might be a bit dated with much better ones out there.Originally posted by Liverpel View PostI'll bump this for you.

I find Fotmob to be far the best app. You can filter leagues and favorites, see live tables, lineups, live text updates from the games i.e. who scored and how.Originally posted by RedReet View PostMine has just been playing up a bit, not changing dates and not opening at the correct page etc. Bar that, I just thought it might be a bit dated with much better ones out there.
There is live notifications from matches with 1 min delay I think, or you can pay something like 1 pound to enable push notifications at the instance of scoring (and remove adds).

This made me laugh, for some reason.
Clearly this Mick McCarthy GIF is a little bit old but we had not seen it before, which means many of you probably have not seen it previously either.
Any advertising executive for a tea brand who views this will spend the following hour furiously trying to contact Mick McCarthy’s agent about getting him involved in their next commercial campaign.
It’s the most glorious McCarthy GIF we’ve seen since ‘one in the hole’.
That rug really tied the room together.

He scored more league goals than the likes of Fowler, Owen or Van BastenOriginally posted by Alex View PostWas reading today that Kevin Philips has a scoring record of almost 1 in 2 after around 650 games. That's pretty amazing considering how much he has bounced around clubs. Played for 21 managers in his career too!

Toronto’s new signing Jermain Defoe may need to brush up on his geography in his new surroundings in North America.
The English striker has left North London for the MLS and already has been greeted enthusiastically by the Toronto supporters.
Defoe was unveiled at a press conference yesterday where he spoke of his eagerness to pull on the new jersey and display his talents in front of a new audience, though he also showed that he may be a little unsure of just where Toronto is.
“I’m happy to be in the USA,” he enthused to a raucous crowd, who started chanting “this is your house” repeatedly throughout.
He won’t be figuring on Mastermind anytime soon, but as long as he finds the back on the net for Toronto, we doubt the normally placid Canadians will be too perturbed. That rug really tied the room together.
