Eden Hazard winning POTY just shows how **** the PL has been this season. Cannot remember a single memorable footballing moment from him at all this season. Just think with Suarez what memories he left last season as he won that award. Different class."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

The Football Association is close to finalising a £10m-a-year deal that would see the FA Cup restyled as the Emirates FA Cup, taking the world's oldest cup competition a step closer to full title-sponsorship.
The FA says it remains in talks with several parties, but a deal with the airline is well progressed and the FA board will receive an update at its monthly meeting on Thursday.
The deal is welcome news for the FA after it failed to attract a sponsor for this season’s competition following the exit of previous sponsor Budweiser.

Premier League sponsors Barclays will not renew their £40million-a-year deal when the current agreement expires at the end of the 2015-16 season.
The bank agreed a £120m three-year deal in 2012 for the present rights - an increase of almost 50 per cent on their previous £82m contract.
But with Sky and BT Sport paying a record £5.1billion for TV rights from the start of the 2016 season, Barclays fear the cost of the next sponsorship will also rise considerably.
[[Nothing to do with the fact Barclays have had to set aside £2Billion in payouts for financial irregularities]

FORMER REAL MADRID midfielder Freddy Rincon is wanted by Interpol for charges relating to drug crimes in Panama.
The International Criminal Police Organisation has revealed they are pursuing the 48-year-old in co-ordination with the judicial authorities of Panama in a bid to arrest him over two alleged offences.
The charges provided by Panaman authorities are:
1) money laundering
2) criminal conspiracy relating to drugs
The ex-Colombia star has responded to the news by releasing a statement claiming authorities have no evidence to back up the charges.
“Panama do not have any evidence against me. That is also the reason why the Brazilian authorities closed their case against me,” Rincon told Semana in a reaction.
Rincon wore the Real Madrid jersey in 1995-96, while also representing clubs such as America de Cali, Napoli, Palmeiras, Corinthians, Santos and Cruzeiro throughout his career.
He enjoyed his biggest success at club level with Corinthians, guiding them to Club World Cup glory in 2000.
The former midfielder made 84 appearances for Colombia, scoring 17 goals in the process. He played at the 1990, 1994 and 1998 World Cups with the Colombian national side.
That rug really tied the room together.
