Scratch that. What sort of cunt would make up a fake translation for numbers ffs. Apparently it's much more mundane:

This is a poor ****ing translation don’t spread fake **** like this!!!! I’m spanish and he says he is about to take off and he said the “if in an hour and a half...” thing as a joke. He then talks about how he will train tomorrow and he is scared (of future)

Many believe this is the pilot – an experienced ferry pilot – talking to the BBC about the life of a ferry pilot and the inherent risks involved.

Its such a sad and strange story. I really hope the people are found. But I worry that the worst outcome is most likely given the current weather.

Can’t see them having survived the night.

Seems that message he sent was real also.

Reading the pilot's forum, it's a treacherous airline, rolling weather, icing issues etc.

A similar plane went down around that area a while back and was never found..

Hopefully, they find them alive somewhere.

Sad to say, I think was a single engine aircraft. Its never a good idea to fly across the sea without twin engines, regardless of duration

He shows you around the actual plane, says 'This is Piper Malibu'.

I was thinking yesterday that a lot of these Pilots are of a certain age, or what people often term 'at that age', meaning issues with the heart can occur, often without warning, and to men who you would consider to be healthy, with no co-pilot either it's it's a huge risk.

I think the thing that struck me was he was on a cheap crappy plane. You'd think most Prem players would be travelling on a decent quality plane these days?

Apparently he had already said he feared travelling on it before it took off.

                            Horrible story.

The club made their private jet available and also offered to book commercial. Everything is fine in hindsight though.
