Yup. Tremendous potential. Had a look at him when he was over here with all the hype. Delighted the mancs didn't get him.

I didn't realise that there was going to be a third tier European competition starting next year with this years league cup winner qualifying for it.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Man, it's already hard to get interested in the UEFA Cup, what is the point of another competition, apart from allowing more teams to have European adventures

While I guess it is good for the teams in the smaller leagues in Europe surely it will be dominated by the English league cup winners or team that finishes 6th/7th in the PL or the teams finishing 6th in the German, Italian or Spanish leagues (assuming that they take it seriously), it will be played on the same night as the Europa league so unless your team is involved you won't give a ****. It seems completely pointless to me.

It seems that this has been coming for a while, they've been badly mismanaged, you have to feel sorry for the fans, sad to see this happen to any club. While this isn't directly related to the Covid-19 situation, you imagine that could push a number of other clubs in a similar direction.

I think it could be quite good fun. Lot of teams people dont hear from much. Plus it gives others something to do that want it.

                        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Easy for us to say ‘that sounds ****e’, but there are a lot of loyal fans of clubs who don’t get much to cheer about and for them to get trips abroad etc (once we can do that sort of thing again) will be amazing for them.
                          Modifying post.
