He'll score on Tuesday and everyone will be wanking over him.

An experienced player who knows the league & knows the club as well as anyone. An England international so he's got decent quality. But he has proved in his time here that he's not good enough to start games for this club. Okay of the bench maybe, but nowhere near good enough to be leading the line. It's embarrassing that he's being selected and he looks worse with every game. Getting hung out to dry by being asked to play a role he's not good enough to do.
From the deadliest strike force in world football (arguably) to Lambert leading the line. What the **** happened?
our midfield has been mostly cack. we cannot expect any striker to win a game on their own.
he isnt the type to turn off a defenders shoulder and srint onto a long pass like sturridge or suarez, he wants players around him for more of a team build up or players going past the last defender and cutting the ball back to anywhere from the edge of the goal area to the edge of the six yard box.
he holds the ball well, but then needs players going past him. i think he has been playing slightly too advanced and becomes too isolated and too easily marked by defenders.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

1. He's average.
2. He doesn't suit the style we played last season.
3. Our players have been unable to fit in to how he plays.
He's looked better when Lallana plays, you'll have to ask Rodgers why he doesn't play them together.
He's a good option to have but he shouldn't be our only attacking outlet ever and he should probably mostly be a sub. For the money he was a fair enough purchase as part of the overall summer spending plan he looks like a slightly baffling decision.
