I agree. I think the the English game's focus on speed has grown faster than its focus on technique. Which is why we've looked ****ter over the years.

I don't see the problems people are having with Stevies performance, most of the things England did came through him, he made a couple of heroic blocks too. The defenders made him look worse for the second goal.

Thought Gerrard was ok tonight and pretty blameless for the second. Him and Henderson form a pretty good unit. But Sterling should have played central.
