he doesn't seem to have any awareness or understanding of the game. his positioning seems awful, he doesn't know when and how to press and randomly shoots because he doesn't know what else to do with the ball. and his shooting is very, very poor. he lacks fight and effort. seems like all he wants to do is amble around the pitch and score wonder goals from wherever he is on the pitch. waste of space, football wise.

Don't forget the **** hair.......now compounded with the **** little facial hair effort.Originally posted by Pablo View PostI honestly can't remember disliking a Liverpool player as much as I do Mario. Everything about his selfish, lazy, shoot on sight style of play absolutely infuriates me.
I hope he never, ever plays for us again.

As posted yesterday, he wont score because he's rarely in and around the box.
When he makes that rare run in to the box he just stands there with no movement.
Costa maybe an arse but he's dangerous and always looks a threat (i remember us having one of these not so long ago), now contrast that to Balotelli who never looks like scoring.
When Sturridge comes back who would you drop to accommodate Balotelli? i'm assuming you go 4-4-2 diamond? He’s here! I *know* he’s here! That’s him, I’m telling you that’s him! You hear me? I’m telling you it’s *Keyser Soze*!

Dreadful. Just like Mario.

Thought he put in a lot more running last night, but like every player who has been out for a while, he was too desperate to impress, and for a striker that means that the selfish side will soon come out, the decision to take on the world rather than pass, to shoot when a better option is available. I've not given up on him yet, hopefully a strike partner will bring out the better aspects of his game, as he is definitely not the lone frontman we require with the current formation.

He only has a selfish side. There is no other side. That much has been clear for a long time.Originally posted by Scratch View PostThought he put in a lot more running last night, but like every player who has been out for a while, he was too desperate to impress, and for a striker that means that the selfish side will soon come out, the decision to take on the world rather than pass, to shoot when a better option is available. I understood why he was brought on, because the ball needed to stick, but it was so frustrating as he kept dropping off and hanging around the left flank. There was a moment during the game when Sterling near the penalty box, and Balotelli was plodding around next to him. There was no one else in the box. If Balotelli had been there, space would've opened up for Sterling to make a pass or have a shot.

Tee Hee I was picturing exactly the same thing.Originally posted by McDermotX View Post
My concern was not with Balotelli's game as I accept he's not good enough and never will be.
My concern is why Rodgers actually brought him on, "We need a goal I know I'll bring on our failed everytime he's played striker, What's the worst that could happen ?"
