The thing with Mario is that he has the talent to be a top class forward but he just doesn't have the discipline or desire to fulfil his potential. Yet again it's another deal for an italian player we lose money on. We should steer clear of Italian players all together.

As for Borini he seems to be suffering from Nicholas Bendtner syndrome.

I'm quite looking forward to Balotelli going. We're going to take a hefty financial hit whatever happens.

It'd be good to draw a line under it and move on.

                      Milan must be pissing themselves.

Doesn't matter though does it. I'm past caring if we get screwed over in a deal. The biggest win is getting him out of the club.

I just think if you train with him every day, after the novelty wears off - LOL it's a chicken hat!!! - it can't help to build any sort of intensity, hunger or will to win if someone is busy being a 'character' rather than trying to do his job to the best of his ability.

As someone on here said - he's not that arsed about football.

Let's take the loss and move on.

Totally. No point crying over spilt milk. Someone conducted one of the worst pieces of transfer business the club has ever been involved in, hopefully they either already left the club or have got a proper bollocking. Either way, I expect I'll forget that he ever played for us pretty easily.

It's just another Acquilani. Other clubs have them, albeit richer clubs.. Veron, Di Maria, Robinho. Then there are catastrophic missed opportunities like Pogba and De Bruyne.

This is worse though. Because he's so f***ing infuriating. Nothing worse than seeing a fully grown adult with talent acting like a stupid kid. Gah.

Milan's proposal is a 50/50 split on wages with the option to buy him at the end of the loan.

'There are negotiations with Liverpool for a loan, but we have not reached an agreement on wages,' Galiani said to Mediaset Premium.

'We want a loan with a portion of the wages paid by us and another portion by Liverpool.

'We want Balo because we are convinced this lad realises that this is absolutely his last chance. I hope he understands that.'

Balotelli has returned to his native Italy where he wants to wait for negotiations to be resolved.

He is not planning to come back to England and could have a medical on Tuesday.

Milan have our pants down. Utterly ridiculous that we find ourselves in this situation.
