If you're applying that military criterion, most of us on here would be a waste of rations.

I'm pretty sure CJ has flat feet, dww would try to understand the rational basis of the enemy 's point of view when under fire, and Shaggy would be off trying to learn the harp.

I'd have been court-martialed for extreme cowardice and MrM would be last seen shouting at the cutlery in the mess tent about the dangers of pre-ordering computer games.

You might need a new unit.

Hey at least the cutlery listens to me
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
            Mine angry and defrauded young?

Mario Balotelli could be out for three months, he’ll have surgery on a hernia this week. surgery is the only option. The likelihood of Milan signing Mario Balotelli outright in the summer now appears diminished. (Gazzetta dello Sport).....Another financial Disaster

                          RAIOLA TALKS BALOTELLI

Could Mario Balotelli return to Liverpool? The striker is currently on a season-long loan with AC Milan but we have been speaking exclusively to his agent Mino Raiola about his future.

Here's what he said when asked if a return to Anfield is possible: "Theoretically and by law, yes. He's owned by Liverpool so at the end of the season he should go back to Liverpool.

"If Klopp has a plan for him or not, I don’t know, I have not spoken to Klopp or Liverpool about this. I think it is too soon (to speak to Liverpool). If Mario does what he needs to do then maybe there will be another view on him.

"We had to go away because with Brendan (Rodgers) there was no opportunity to develop anymore.

"If we talk about the quality and talent Mario has, that is without question. Then you also need a manager that believes in you and gives you the chance to prove yourself. We will talk to him when it is time to talk to him."

From Essex's most high profile news source (please let it be true).

West Ham United are ready to make a move for Milan striker Mario Balotelli.

The former Manchester City forward could be available in a cut-price deal and Slaven Bilic is keen to add a striker to his squad following the latest injury to Andy Carroll.

The 26-year-old suffered a hamstring injury and has been ruled out for six months, leaving the Hammers light up front with just Enner Valencia the only fully fit frontman.

Manuel Lanzini has also been ruled out and Italian Balotelli is seen as the perfect option during the current transfer window.

The Hammers are also ready to sell Nikica Jelavic to Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande in a bid to free up funds and finance the move
