My one criticism of Balotelli is whether or not he's prolific enough. Alongside a fit and healthy Sturridge I don't think we have any issues - there's every reason to believe that Sturridge can not only score at his current rate but actually improve upon it in the future. However, Sturridge would appear to be fairly injury prone which means we are reliant on Balotelli to fill the goal gap.

I think he can fill the goal gap once he gets going, The only thing that does my head in is he falls on his arse every 5mins, Although sure that is something that we can get out of his game and its easy to see why he has the worse conversion rate in Europe with all those pot shots he takes, Although wont be complaining when a few start to go in!!

I don't see why people are so angry with Mario, he does exactly what he did at previous clubs. We knew what we were getting.

Either we play to his strengths and expect a potential 1 from 2 return or we don't.

Let's see what happens when Sturridge plays along side in a diamond.
