Dutch agent Rob Jansen says Liverpool would be an "excellent club" for Memphis Depay.

Jansen, who is not the player's agent, was asked about Depay's future on Dutch television, and he warned that the 21-year-old should think twice about moving to France.


"He must certainly not go to Paris Saint-Germain", Jansen told TV programme Business Class.

"The club are totally unsuitable for him. He needs to go to a club where he is sure of playing football.

"I think England is the best option", Jansen continued.

"I heard Liverpool's name mentioned, which would be an excellent club for Depay."
