I think there would be some difference especially in terms of attracting players from Germany (for Klopp) and Spain (for Rafa).

The problem we have is that we dont have any heavy hitters in our coaching setup and management. FSG had the right idea with a heavy hitter like Van Gaal as the DOF and Brendan as the manager. I hope they go back to that formula.

Oh naturally, but if Rafa wanted to move for the big Spanish thing or Klopp for the hot German talent, we'd probably still encounter transfer issues along the same line as any not-quite-top team would..................I mean, it's not like we're hoovering up top British players (if there even are any) under Brendan.

We can pay top dollar for the crap leftover, regardless of nationality.......that's never in doubt.

That post was a pretty credible journalist tbf. I'm also happy we are targeting said players, but we need to change something, IMO it's act quicker and offer better wages to the top players.

It's fine to sign Milner, he's a good player and could be very valuable, but we need some top quality, game changers on the field. Ings is totally not going to work out for us, we have Sturridge, Origi, Borini, Balo and Lambert on the books, we should try for top striker, not another squad filler.

I'm disappointed this didn't really get to full blown LFC Transfer 'Saga' status. Only 280 posts FFS. Its not even the end of the season and this one has already got away.
