Said the seething Alex Jones of the forum before smashing his spittle flecked laptop in a helpless rage at more corruption. Obviously your reading comprehension skills are about as well developed as your impulse control and general analysis of reality. Hopefully you haven't been able to mate with anyone just yet saving the world from the sight of more red-faced "******"-screaming imbeciles at corner flags all around England despite the reassurances that there's a blind deaf self-loathing masochist somewhere out there for you.Felching ≠ Gerbilling

That list just doesn't compare. Sterling isn't a cunt imo, in fact I'm right behind him while our racist tabloids try to destroy him. Lingard is such a **** non entity he couldn't possibly be a cunt. Alli is a cunt for Spurs but nothing compared to the others in previous years, and Kane is so beige I couldn't possibly hate him. In fact I thought he was Walsall bound for years, and I admire him for absolutely maxing out his minimal ability as a footballer. He's become an incredible goalscorer.
There's no one to truly hate in this team. Just a bunch of young lads trying their best, and I can well get on board with them in a 4 week tournament.
****ing hell Shaggy, what u been smoking?
Sterling is a massive cunt, so overrated and to see him show his true ****eness on the world stage has been immensely satisfying.
I don’t know, usually I would always be behind England come the WC but this time round I can’t stand the players and the manager is the biggest joke of all. Nothing likeable about this team I’m afraid, but each to their own"Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

Sterling was unbelievably bad last night
I actually enjoyed watching Lingard play. His finishing is next level woeful but my god he's got some energy. He was all over the pitch.
I think they were lacking someone with drive in midfield, that might have been Ali had he not been injured, but a fit Oxlade Chamberlain would have been brilliant in that team last night.
Enjoyed watching it, but as Shaggy is alluding to it's a casual enjoyment you can take from it. I enjoyed seeing them win, but had they ****ed it up I would have probably enjoyed that a little bit too

Hate has been mentioned and there are few people I hate in football nervermind England but Sterling is clearly a wee ****, along with that agent of his. This opinion stems from his time with us. I'm completely clueless about some tabloid campaign though, what's that about?
Anyway, i don't hate him, it's just more amusing to watch him fail. 23 apps and 2 goals as a forward.
Edit. 39apps.

Hendo, Ox and Milner as a Midfield 3 for England and we win the whole thing. TAA at the back too. Easy street.Originally posted by Pablo View PostSterling was unbelievably bad last night

I'm still torn about this England side, I haven't given a **** about England since 1998, since then I have gone through cycles of active dislike and ambivalence. Largely driven by hype, and dislikes of various players and managers over that time. I have quite enjoyed the lack of hype or talk of golden generations or x reasons England will win the world cup. I kind of like Southgate and at times found myself rooting for them, at others I was still disliking them because of some of the players in the side. This morning the hype seems to have started up a little again (I have already seen articles about if England win the world cup...) which is annoying and I imagine a win against Panama and qualification from the group would push it on again. So this morning I am probably back to ambivalence. I'll see how these factors influence my feelings towards them as the tournament progresses...
In terms of performance in the tournament if they beat Panama they are through, the Belgium game (or goal difference) decides who wins the group. And should they qualify they face a fairly kind draw. [cliché] I know there are no easy games at this level [/cliché]The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I can really see some appealing aspects to the squad, and Southgate is proabably the most humble England manager since Bobby Robson, but the media and hype just cannot help itself, and will always be a distraction.
There is a massive inability within the pundits and media to be able to call a performance what it was, solid. The ability to place that expectation outwith ambition - realistic, unrealistic just doesn’t exist and as soon as this context is brought into play it defeats the purpose, and renders all previous chat pointlessModifying post.
