Our keeper did well throughout the tournament too but that howler for their 2nd was terrible. The better side won, no doubt about it.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostArgentina were the better side but Australia gave them a good fight, Martinez saved Argentina a few times in the endMe, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Scum armed robbers did his home over apparently while family were still in situ.Originally posted by SB View PostEngland win it 3-0 & Sterling left out of the squad for family reasons that may see him fly home. Or is that him saving face when told he won’t be starting again?_____________________________________

yeah I have to agree
On RTE on national broadcaster too, they have several different women on the panels. Same on Sky, got an the old crew out, too old, white and male. So they threw in a few ladies for diversity & inclusivity, that's all it is a token gesture. They have done this too in recent years with race. You can be inclusive and diverse and that's great but if the people you bring on are boring as **** or have no real knowledge about football, then it does the broadcasters or viewers no favours. We see this with a lot of movies these days too, so desperate to put certain people in certain roles because of their sexuality/race when they should be just the case of are they simply the best person for the job regardless of skin color or if the have a vagina.Last edited by danperkins; 05-12-22, 01:27 PM.

The problem with the statement “these women match commentators are utterly dull and boring” is that it could imply they are dull and boring because they are women.Originally posted by danperkins View Post
