Still not sure what to do. After it died down this afternoon, I sent a long parting shot aiming to draw an emphatic line under the sorry exchange immediately before I left work. I've a feeling I may get in tomorrow morning to a barrage of more bile. Either that or a complete blank.

I do a predictions league thingy with 'em all and I may pull out of that as a matter of principle. I was one of the 'founders' of the said league and if my predictions are absent this week, something that's never happened, they may get the message and realise the strength of feeling I have about this.

Soz to dump on everyone like a big wuss. It just did really did my head in.

Doesn't sound like he's not much of a mate Shaggy. What happened at Hillsborough (and Munich and Ibrox and Bradford) is above petty football rivalries and if he can't see that it's his loss not yours.

Shaggy mate, leave this fella alone. He doesn't know what he's saying, because he hates Liverpool so much that he would even kick his own ma if she appeared in front of him in a Liverpool shirt. You get much more sense out of a brick wall than this kind of people.

The protest for me showed and proved that Liverpool supporters are the best in the world. By far! The protest also showed that everyone still care about Hillsborough and will probably care about the justice for 96 until that Kelvin **** apologizes. And they will still remember those 96 forever and ever. The KOP stood and shouted for justice united for 10 minutes. Mancs can call themselves United and even call their offal supporters club "ONE UNITED"... But in comparison with us, they're ****e! Pure ****e!

Part of me felt like telling him to **** off, and funnily enough I talked at length in my last email yesterday about the eternal flame and the names at the Anny Road.

He was man enough to admit he had no idea what the protest was about despite calling it "pathetic and disgraceful" (he thought it was just random bleating ) and claimed to have had his "eyes opened to what was a very justifiable protest in a public arena". I've never, ever known him be so contrite and I'm willing to accept what he had to say.

Last chance though - any more outbursts like that and it will be the end.
