There are obvious reasons stated many times on here as to why we sing it before and at the end of games, and they apply whatever kind of effort the players have put in.
As for singing it at half time against Arse, we were heading for defeat so about to get knocked out of the cup - we wanted to give the players every bit of encouragement and fortitude we could to turn it around. Surely you understand that? You must also recognise that singing J4T96 at matches generally raises awareness but essentially it is an expression of solidarity. As is YNWA.
